Group Project: Voice Over

In order to renforce and make clear our cross-cultural intentions, we decided to play with different languages recorded voices and the performer reacting to them.

The River, which will be figuratively represented onthe set by using a hanging cloth with projections on it, would therefore be a speaking, male, presence. It will be speaking three different European languages. In contrast, the performer will be an European female, speaking in Korean language the line of the traditional poem.

Those two identities will remain separate until the moment of the fusion.

Personally, I've been responsible to provide the italian version of the recorded male voice, speaking the lines of our selection of related literature. I unfortunately didn't manage to upload the sounds, however, here are the texts that have already been recorded (together with the english version as well), ready to be edited in a multi-language mix that would provide the flow of sounds coming from the River. Besides, those extracts has been recorded three times, with three different intentions for each steps of the passage.

3. FIGHT
